brinks potato salad "original style"



3 large potatoes....i use baking potatoes
1/2 C celery......chopped
1/4 yellow onion.......minced
pepper to taste
celery salt or celery seed to taste
mayo enough to combine


boil your potatoes till fork tender...drain and cool. chop your celery and mince your onion. the onion is for flavor only. combine potatoes, celery and onion with mayo and add pepper and your celery seed or celery salt and that is it. chill and serve. 3 large potatoes will equal about 6 servings.

lemon curd

later today i'm going to make lemon curd for my crepes....it's 1am right now....and it's friday so the holiday weekend is starting so it's time to party and bbq....what shall i bbq i'm thinking ribs some chicken.........

mac and cheese

oh by the way with the extra béchamel sauce i made from my croque monsiuers i made the most incredible mac and cheese.....topped with italian bread crumbs and some parmesan cheese......what can i say. though next time i might spruce it up a bit with artichoke hearts.

crepes

made crepes for the first time last night. have to admit they were really easy. got my batter mixed together brushed my crepe pan with melted butter and ladled some of the batter into the pan and out came a beautiful fragrant crepe. oh and of course i drizzled a little grand marnier on top of the crepe before i spooned the strawberries in the middle and folded it in a fold, and i drizzled a little more grand marnier on top of the crepe topped it with powdered sugar and a dollop of freshly whipped cream. and it was wonderful, fabulous, sumptuous, out of the world i can go on and on and on.
